| Welcome to the Best of the Best! Here is where we showcase the best of the best of photography all over the world! We accept: We do not accept photo manipulations We want the best of the best in our group so submissions are monitored. If your work is declined don't feel disheartened, try submitting another piece of your work. Nudity is allowed as long as it isn't pornographic. Now for the important part You can submit 2 pieces a day This is in regards to the visible quality of the image, in terms of noise, glare, blur, etc. While we do accept photography submissions be they from point and shoot, analog, or dslrs - we stress the need for the image to be of good quality. Snapshots and spontaneous images will very rarely be accepted. This isn’t to say they will always be declined, but we shy away from photos that appear to have had no real planning or purpose put into them aside from just snapping a quick photograph. This follows closely with the first and second guidelines, as technical skill can really mean the difference between a snapshot and a successful photograph. Submissions should demonstrate an understanding of depth of field, focus, and lighting. EXIF data is not necessary for images to be accepted, but the final piece should demonstrate at least a basic understanding of photography. If the deviation is submitted to the wrong category, it will be declined. We will always try to comment and inform you if the deviation is better suited for a different category, but it’s best to be mindful of this. The ‘Featured’ folder is meant to showcase the absolute best of the best from the group, so submissions will be placed under higher scrutiny during the submission process. There may be time when a submission may be declined from the ‘Featured’ folder, but suggested to be resubmitted to a different folder. We may not accept every deviation that a member submits, so please don’t be discouraged if one deviation is declined - we may very well accept another! Helpful feedback will be provided when it comes to why a deviation is declined, and we may suggest submitting other images from your gallery. As the group grows, we may be unable to do this every single time, but we’ll continue to strive to provide our members with encouraging and constructive feedback.
